HCS Safety Program

The personal health and safety of every employee is of primary concern to Herndon Construction Services, Inc.  It is of great importance to prevent accidents and personal injury on the job.  To achieve this goal we must have the fullest cooperation of every employee.

HCS provides ALL employees with detailed safety training prior to stepping foot on the job.  We also offer a number of programs that deliver continuing education and create overall awareness of the importance of safety. One such program is our weekly Toolbox Talks which help protect our employees from hazards encountered on the job.  We also have an incentive program in place to reward safe working behavior.

We encourage employees to support our Safety Committee. The committee is a great forum in which we learn from each other how to make HCS the safest work environment possible. The committee has been instrumental in designing effective safety programs and protocol.

Our team of well trained employees is like family. And at the end of the day we want to ensure they return home to their families safely.

We just completed another successful year of our safety program. HCS, Inc. was awarded “Safe Sub of the Year” by one of our general contractors (Arco Murray). We would like to thank all of our employees for another banner year and their continued commitment to working safely.
